The core research group of CRS presented the program to an audience of leading global experts, gathered at Stanford University for a day of intensive discussions. The goal was to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the proposed program, providing valuable advice and guidelines to ensure its successful launch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Opening Remarks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The workshop began with a welcome address by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Professor Stephen Kotkin<\/strong>, Stanford University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professor Kathryn Stoner<\/strong>, Stanford University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professor Itai Sened<\/strong>, Tel Aviv University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In his opening remarks, <strong>Dr. Anatoly Chubais<\/strong> introduced the participants to the work of CRS and the objectives of the CRS Workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Research Presentations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The research team of CRS, based at Tel Aviv University, has developed a multidisciplinary research program integrating perspectives from culture studies, sociology, political science, and economics. This approach aims to construct a comprehensive analytical framework for understanding contemporary Russian realities. Presentations on specific research areas were delivered by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Professor Victor Vakhshtayn (CRS)<\/strong> \u2013 Methodology, Sociology, Interdisciplinary connections, and Future Work Plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mr. Dmitry Butrin (CRS)<\/strong> \u2013 Economics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professor Alexander Arkhangelsky (CRS)<\/strong> \u2013 Culture<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mr. Alexander Baunov (CRS and Carnegie)<\/strong> \u2013 Politics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professor Alexander Libman (CRS and Freie Universit\u00e4t Berlin)<\/strong> \u2013 Foreign Policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Discussion and Closing Remarks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The research presentations were followed by a discussion led by <strong>Professor Stephen Kotkin<\/strong>.
